I couldn't get on!!

Okay, so I have been trying to get on here for a couple of days and post a new blog, but it wouldn't let me. Maybe it was some kind of sign or something. Anyways, so I am finally on here.
Well, for the trip I was telling you guys about we decided...finally. We are going to Orange Beach, AL, but we still had to change our dates. No big deal I guess, at least we are still getting to go. On my family trip I think we have decided to go to Pensacola, Florida and then off to The Silver star Casino in Mississippi. Then in September I am going to Thunder on The Beach in Panama City Beach, Florida. So as you can see, I have a lot of trips planned...let's just hope things go my way.
So, I used to work at Winn Dixie store 595 and since my space, a lot of us have found each other. Long story short we are planning a WD 595 reunion. You see we have a group on my space and we all chat when possible and we decided we should all get together since it's been years. We decided that that was going to be the last weekend in Feb., so I have that going on. What else??
Well, in about 3 weeks my paw paw is having surgery so I am off for that. I am praying that everything will be OK, but everyone knows anytime you go in to have surgery there are risks. Please, everyone pray for me and my family during this time.
Work.....been OK. We had a mandatory meeting this past Sunday. It started at 2:00pm and was over at 2:10pm. Short and Sweet. The only thing is was it was pouring down rain and so yucky outside. oh well, things we have to do for our jobs.
Oh yeah, Friday night Fly By Radio is playing at The Iron Horse and it's girls night. Kristen and I are going to hear them and I am so excited. Anyways, I guess I'll go now. Talk to you soon.

Okay Okay so Kristen(Kelly) and Lindsey(Winks or Sabrina) obviously think I should be posting like everyday, little do they know is I actually work while I am at work. (Just Kidding with you girls. So it has been crazy the last week or so. Well, me, Kristen, and Winks want to go on vaction together for a girl's trip in OCtober so we asked Kristen to ask our boss because he likes her better than me and Winks so she asked and he said he would have to talk to Jo (our assistant manager). So Monday I asked Kristen if Jo had told he anything and she said no, so she wanted me to ask Jo and I did. Of course, he hadn't said anything to her yet, but she asked him about it. She came back into my office and YES we can all be off at the same time. Sorry I know all this excitement is boring you but for all of us to be off at the same time is a miracle. Anyways, so we tried New York...yeah kind of expensive for us poor broke girls. So we tried Las Vegas....still a little broke. So then we tried New Orleans and no one wants us going there because they say it is dangerous...so we are all back to square one. Kristen and I are trying to think of a place. Enough about that.

Let's see I have been dieting for about 2 weeks now. I am going to the YMCA everyday except on the weekends with my mom and dad and we are walking a mile and riding the bicycles. We then come home and do sit ups and leg ups. We are eating nothing, but chicken (grilled or baked) NO FRIED ANYTHING, NO FAST FOOD...........and let me tell you it hasn't been real hard, but when I am at work and my coworkers bring Taco Bell in for lunch I want to reach over them and grab it and throw it out the window, but I am not bitter.

So, I guess a lot has been going on in my life and maybe that's why I haven't posted a blog in a while. Well, it's time to go so I will talk to you guys later. Love ya, Shannon

Hi my name is Shannon. And I said I would never do a blog but if you can't beat join um. So I am 24 years old and I am having the best time. I have a wonderful family and a lab named Buddy. I am the only child besides Buddy. (Ha! Ha!) I have wonderful friends. I work as an Accounting Clerk at a credit union and I was at Wachovia for 5 years before that. I have a degree in Business Management from Jefferson State Community College and I hope to one day open my own tanning salon or bar. I love the water, outdoor sports, such as camping, hiking, riding bicycles, and I love motorcycles. My dad has a Harley Davidson Road King all chromed out and I would love to own one. Right now I am in the process of saving money so I can purchase my own Harley Davidson Low Rider. I am currently trying to first learn how to drive a motorcycle. My family recently had a lake house on Lake Martin and I had a seadoo and I even sold my seadoo to help with my Harley dream. I am very friendly and I love to have a good time. I am orgainzed but not so much as I used to be. I have spontanity...let's jump in the car and go to Vegas...things like that. Well, it looks like I have told you a lot about me so I guess if you want ot know anything else you will ask me.
